Norton Archers is a friendly, award winning club on Teesside with members who shoot for both pleasure and competition. We are open to all archers who are Archery GB affiliated members (please email to let us know if you want to come along to a session and bring your Archery GB card with you), and if you would like to take up archery for the first time we also run 5-session beginners' courses; these are a requirement to coach you in shooting safely before joining any archery club.

 

We are currently shooting indoors, in The Avery Cricket Centre on Tuesdays from 5.00pm until 8.00pm, Saturdays from 4.00pm until 6.00pm and Sundays from 3.00pm until 6.00pm. There's also the possibility of shooting outdoors during the Sunday sessions if it's warm and enough people want to.

 

If you would like to come along to meet us and see what archery's all about, or if you're an Archery GB member who wishes to shoot with us, please let our Secretary, Nicola, know by email at secretary@nortonarchers.co.uk so we have an idea of how many people to expect! Please bring your Archery GB card along whenever you shoot with us, and please also note that all-carbon arrows are not permitted for outdoor sessions - we shoot on a field which is used for other sporting activities and need to find all missing arrows with our trusty metal detector.

Club equipment is available for hire (recommended if you've just finished a beginners' course until you know the type of equipment you would like to buy) at a cost of 50p per session.
